Subi Kebabs

This is not a review for Subi Kebabs but rather for their selection of Il Gelato Ice– cream, the first time I actually came here was after a night out and my friends and I were craving ice cream, knowing Subiaco would be open we chanced our luck to see if we could get some Gelato. Thankfully we found that the Subi Kebab shop (which used to be Il Gelato) was open, and stocked a huge range of Il Gelato ice– cream and sorbet. Think of it as tiny Il Gelato has merged with a kebab shop, weird but I guess sharing the space means more costumers and convenience.
Anyways we were more interested in the gelato they were all a little melted which is not so good — maybe check the freezer is working correctly, but still they tasted amazing, I had the Ferrero ice cream and my friend the Choc chip both delicious, refreshing and awesome that they stay open late.

Kebab shops are one of the most under-​rated part of Perth nightlife in my opinion! At the end of a hard night of dancing sometimes you just need a friendly face to make you a delicious treat before you totter off into the night to find a taxi.
The staff in Subi Kebabs have those friendly faces I’m talking about. God love them, they put up with me almost every Friday night, screaching for extra jalepinos and chilli sauce, and they do it with great patience and care.
To be honest the kebabs here aren’t great, especially if you get them with egg. The egg is too greasy and overpowering. But the real star of the Subi Kebab menu is the often over-​looked beef burger. I don’t know what goes into the making of those beef patties (and I probably don’t want to!), but they are so damn tasty! Paired with a double helping of chilli sauce, jalepenos and onions, you’ve got yourself one fantastic end to a good night!
