My name is Chris Godwin. I’m the founder of a mortgage broking company named Credit Sherpas. We specialise in untangling the home loan experience.

We’re all about helping non home-​loan experts get suitable finance without all the heart-​ache and confusion.

We do all the hard yards of researching, writing reports, filling in applications and government forms so you don’t have to. We also track the application and keep you regularly updated all the way up until you have the keys.

You get all the benefits of being an astute home loan expert without having to do the work and it didn’t cost you a thing.

I’m an accredited mortgage broker which means I’ve completed a diploma in Finance & Mortgage Broking Management and I’m registered with ASIC as a credit representative.

Early on, I realised the home loan process was not usually easy, or even logical. I still receive call after call from people who say, «I just want a straight answer! Here’s my situation, give me a solution, not some complex illogical explanation about your processes and policies. Just tell it to me straight!»

Early on, Chris realised the home loan process was not usually easy, or even logical. After helping just a few customers it became abundantly clear that what he’s doing is really helping to untangle the home loan process. His customers love it and so does he!
