So since my local coffee place closed in have been wandering in a concentric circle looking for a new one. After a week or so I am thinking this might be the one. Coffee, pretty good, some little hiccups in consistancy but overall much better than their neighbours. Friendly staff, and a great little breakfast menu. So the standouts are * Mini Bacon and Egg Roll — So good… and a good size which stop me from turning into a bad size * Mr Crispy — This is like a toasted ham and cheese on steroids. Mustard, Bechamel Sauce, and Caramalised Onions. This is one I’ll have to have pretty sparingly as it is so good… but pretty bad for my waist.

All I remember about this café is that it is conveniently located and a great place to relax and have a cup of coffee before your next meeting. Other than that, nothing much memorable about this place. I have to remember that Ice Coffee means something completely different in Australia. It’s a crazy concoction involving ice cream, coffee, whipped cream, and who knows what else. Must… remember…this…next…time.

Light, spacious and fresh, this is a lovely sunny spot for a coffee or some yummy Turkish bread sandwiches on Clarence Street. The windows are floor to ceiling, and that ceiling is a very high one. The problem is, as you can guess from the rather unimaginative name of the café, this place isn’t terribly individual, in fact it is more of a glorified lobby for the busy offices upstairs. In light of the formal atmosphere and business surroundings I think this place is best suited for serious coffees and meetings.
