Lovely fresh seafood. Wait staff were attentive gorgeous views of the river and great atmosphere … Apart from our grumpy kids … Kids menu was ok. Thebug tails were fresh and yummy. The pork belly was a lovely caramel flavour. Great wine list but the wine we ordered was out of stock. A great night out.

Big fan of this restaurant… had lunch with client and the service was excellent. Wasn’t in a wine drinking mode but I did check out the selection and it was ok… the seafood risotto was simply outstanding… tasty yet not over bearing. Texture perfect. Would like to go back for dinner and would consider a function there in the future. Venue is perfect setting… Great river views. Only negative parking was a nightmare.

I went here with my girlfriend for an anniversary dinner. The service was excellent on a Sunday night, while the atmosphere was quiet and generally charming. Our waiter gave my girlfriend generous proportions with both her wine and the main course(the salmon) after explaining that he felt the fish was undersized, then returning with a very large piece later on. The food in general was enjoyable and the menu clearly marked gluten free items(including a rather excellent flourless chocolate cake).

A quaint restaurant in a beautiful picturesque setting on the Brisbane River. Seated riverside of Vernon terrace in Teneriffe this restaurant recently received an award for excellence in the casual seafood restaurant category and after recently dining at this place for my second time I can understand why. Not so long ago I attended a wedding here which went off without a hitch. Aqua Linea supplied some fantastic food, ranging from moreish canapes(in abundance) to a beautiful three course meal which kept everyone happy for the duration of the event. The tables were presented beautifully and the service was second to none, when I had finished one drink another was almost immediately placed in my hand to replace it(exactly what you want at a wedding!). My only issue and although understandable due to its location is the noise restrictions as the restaurant is part of an apartment block and adjacent to several others. As a result the music has to be kept to an almost inaudible level which puts a certain dampener on the festivities.

I recently had the good fortune to attend a cocktail party event here as a ‘plus one.’ It’s always exciting to get a free pass to unlimited alcohol and nibbles with no one to gossip about how shamefully you acted afterwards and I was looking forward to experiencing the award-winning restaurant. The setting was beautiful, overlooking the river under a marquee but enclosed with clear plastic walls to keep out the freezing wind. As soon as we walked in we were offered drinks and they kept coming all night, one would barely be finished before a waiter was asking if we would like another. They had some absolutely amazing cocktails with exotic fruits and liqueurs. The one thing that didn’t impress me was the food-there were some weird things that didn’t taste very nice including tasteless polenta cakes with sour cream and an awful seafood pilaf. There were the obligatory spring rolls but they got snapped up fast. I really expected better from an a la carte restaurant.
