Where else can you get cash for the whole variety of scrap metal around the city?
I’m only aware of Denron Metals so close to the city centre. Denron will purchase any kind of scrap metal like stainless steel, PVC copper, brass, bronze, cast iron, aluminium, coated wire and also car batteries from trucks, forklifts and cars.
Now I want this to be very clear, I’m not talking about aluminium cans only, I’m talking sheet metal, old fridges, washing machines, old galvanized iron fences, unwanted old school office chairs with solid metal stands, dishwashers and dryers, or anything else like old cars and objects that literally are made of metal. These guys will pick things up as well if you arrange it with them — and in some cases that will still make you a little cash in the process. They’re proud of their collection service and they collect from homes and businesses in areas as far away as the Barossa Valley through to Mount Gambier. You need to give them a couple of days’ notice and they will visit you.
There are a few different places around Thebarton where you can recycle, but this is the one place where you can get rid of all the more crappy scrappy bits and pieces you may end up with in the process of renovating a house or dismantling an old shed. It is worth getting the material along to Denron and stuffing that cash in pocket. Why not?
