This place is awesome for bargain hunters. I found out about it from a friend at work who lives around the corner. Be prepared to spend at least an hour looking in detail through all the racks & you will be rewarded! Got a cute denim black jacket, long length grey cardigan, cute little black dress & awesome dress from Cue for $ 250. My favorite is a Lisa Ho dress for $ 160. Shop takes lay but & Vladka is really friendly, honest & helpful. Seriously check this place out but make sure you leave some clothes on the rack for me!

If you have a penchant for designer labels and don’t believe in paying top dollars for a frock or a flashy handbag(like moi!), Back On The Rack is every fashionista’s dream! When I dropped in some weeks back, I spotted a Marc Jacobs bag-oh what a beauty! Seated on the counter, bearing a $ 180 price tag, the price was just perfecto and I could hear it call out my name. As I had to stick to my monthly budget, I didn’t buy the bag but came across other preloved handbags labels, with the likes of Nine West, Country Road, Guess and a sexy looking Mimco. Sadly, I found some bags a bit over preloved and the attached price tags didn’t warrant those figures. My guess behind the pricing is lots of owners bring in their preloved clothing/accessories here, and the owners probably hike up their prices to enable the owners to take a small commission. Overall, you probably would score a sought after designer label here, which may be slightly cheaper than eBay. It’s worth doing your homework and shop around to compare prices. For those wanting to peruse clothing, the boutique offers a easy to flick and see racks, all grouped in sizes. There’s one with a Clearance Sign rack that’s worth checking. So many gorgeous threads to peruse. Sequins, linen, satin, silk or the humble cotton, is sure to make your hearts melt. It’s definitely worth a visit if you haven’t checked them out yet.

Back on the Rack is a small second hand clothes stores at the intersection of Unley Road and Arthur Street. It only has a small selection, but this can often mean you don’t have to sort through rack after rack of rubbish to find the good stuff. Items are arrange in size order on the round racks and by style on the walls. They often have a small selection of shoes and accessories and the sales assistant is always friendly and helpful. It’s not so much cool vintage clothes as stuff that a friend might have bought, worn once or twice and passed on. In other words, instead of paying $ 150 for a pair of pants in Rundle Mall, you might find them here(admittedly from last season) for $ 30. I’ve often wondered how it has stayed in business for so long, but there are always a few women browsing the racks whenever I’ve visited. The hardest thing is parking. There isn’t any street parks because of the intersection and the nearest car parks are over the road at the Unley Shopping Centre or at the back of Target. You have to really want to go there to walk a few blocks and cross two sets of traffic lights.

A second hand clothing store which has been in this location for many years. It predominantely deals in upper class, good quality clothes and there is also a small shoe section towards the back of the shop. I did purchase a beautiful suede jacket for $ 50 which I thought was reasnable and really their prices are good considering the quality and compared to what other stores charge. If you’re not into ‘vintage’ then this is for you. It’s also located on busy Unley Road and there’s no parking directly out the front and with good reason too, but drive around the corner to Oxford Street and you’ll find a park either on the road or round the back od the shops is a carpark free of charge.
