This handy fruit and veggie shop doesn’t have a huge range but it’s got all your basics covered and a little more. The prices and quality are always better than the supermarkets and the deli style section stocks lots of interesting dips, cured meats, cheeses, sauces, gluten free products etc.

I discovered this shop through a friend of mine. I’ve got to say it’s pretty good! Prices are reasonable and quality is generally good — but I’ve dropped a star as the thyme we bought was rotten in the centre.
I should have noticed it, but considering we bought almost $ 200 worth of goods (we were catering) and my friend is a serious regular, I do kinda feel they should have noticed that and not sold it to us.
As a balancing act, I saw bunches of coriander my friend bought from there once that looked like trees they were so big.

A busy, local fruit and vegetable shop on Hamilton Road. They stock lots of fresh fruit and vegetables, often at cheaper prices than chain supermarkets. They also sell Barambah organic milk and yoghurt and Greek Yoghurt and other deli items.
But most importantly, they stock Ben & Jerry’s icecream! Mini tubs (100g) for $ 3.45 and pint tubs for $ 11.95. They also have a rack of American candy and chocolate for all the fans out there.
