We walked down here for breakfast on a Sunday a couple weeks ago. There were a few other tables but it certainly wasn’t busy. The food was fine, nothing great, but not bad either, but the service was terrible. Our food came out separately and by the time the 3rd person received their meal, I’d already finished mine. Not to mention we ordered 2 milkshakes for our table (milk & flavoring, right?) and they didn’t come out until AFTER all our food was done. No apologies, nothing. My advice is save your money. You’ll get much better service at the café around the corner.

As far as Waverton village goes, this is the business when it comes to breakfast. A small but perfectly formed menu with attentive and friendly staff means that this is the best place around to get your «morning» meal.
I have tried the Eggs Benedict and the Full Breakfast, which are both good, but lack the greatness and/​or special touch that you can find in many inner city cafes.
Its simple, but its done well. The coffee is good, but again, not outstanding.
I haven’t tried the lunch and dinner yet (Tuesdays is pasta night) but I’m primed to try one day.
