The best coffee in the whole of West Lakes Mall :) I go out of my way and walk all the way down the other end to go here :)

I tend to dismiss the stores at this end of the shopping mall, it just seems like such an effort to walk over there. I know what you’re thinking, ‘damn this lady sure is lazy.’ When you walk past Café Cino you tend to do a double take, because the colour scheme is quite eye grabbing. It’s red, white and brown and although it’s simple it still looks classy. Unforunately the food doesn’t really cut it for me. All the staff members are friendly enough, and there’s always plenty of variety to choose from but the food is nothing special. The coffee isn’t that great either.

Early weekday mornings during school holidays, dressing up in my brown chords and ‘nice’ blue wollen jumper, holding on to mummys skirt as we negotiated the shopping crowds, nagging her to take me to a café for some raisin toast… and that was just last week! Back in the day I remember when a café on a shopping strip was a rarity. Most were simply lunch places that happened to serve coffee! Now there are more stops for a caffine hit than there are shops! This is true also for Westlakes Mall, where you will find Café Cino. A small ‘stall’ just outside of Coles, Cino serves the usual hot and cold refreshments and a few lunch/snack options for the busy cliental. Considering there are an abundance of café and snack/lunch options at Westlakes, it is surprising just how busy it is. I tried the coffee, it was ok, nothing really super special… I didn’t eat there as I had already had my fill in the food court, so feel free to enlighten me, my Unilocaling minions, if I am missing something!
