Always consistent in their quality, their specialty sushi rolls are a must! Also open on Mondays which is a plus as most Asian places are closed on that day.

I’m so glad I live near this restaurant because it’s definitely my favourite sushi! Everytime I go there the food is always fresh and tasty, and the service is great. It’s not the smallest restaurant but it does get busy so book a table no matter what night of the week!

Visited Silver Sushi on a number of occasions with family, partner and friends. The sushi are very fresh, well presented and perfectly sized. I’ve have tried vege roll and the salmon katsu roll in the past. Also had the vege korokke which can be quite filling on its own as it’s made of mashed potato. My partner’s favourite dishes here are the katsu chicken rice bowl & chicken curry served with rice. Came with a friend once and she really enjoyed the spider roll. Service can be good and bad, on weekends it can get quite busy during lunch and dinner which can affect service speed. The feel of service is quite impersonal and bland. Best to book a table instead of walking in as there is limited seating. Dishes are reasonably priced. My companions and I always leave with a full stomach.

Japanese is by far my favourite kind of food. Everything about it screams yes for me and I have tried so many Perth based Japanese places that it’s ridiculous. Silver sushi is pretty much my favourite place to eat in terms of qaulity, flavour and customer service. All I need now is for them to have ramen and im set. Eat here and I promise you wont be disappointed. I know I havent. Their sushi is to die for.

May look a little pricey compared to your usual Japanese neighbourhood joint but Portions here are big!!! I ordered the salmon and avocado salad — huge and tasty. The hubby ordered a teriyaki beef — said its one of the best he’s tasted! Sushis are huge too! Book in advance cos it’s just that popular and they do takeaways too!

First time to Silver Sushi and it was enjoyable. Very busy on a Sunday so I would make a reservation if I was to return next time. Food was good, not amazing but better then average and definitely one of the better sushi joints south of the river. I would be back, menu looked good and they have a few more meals I am looking forward to trying

Hands down 10⁄10. Never disappoints. The sushi is amazing, so fresh, large portions and very delicious. It’s really good value for money. To be honest I haven’t tried many things other than the sushi even though I’ve been so many times, but really, it’s that good. I love the fresh salmon roll, but all the rolls are super delicious. Love it

This must be my favorite Japanese restaurant! The serving sizes are generous and the prices are very reasonable. My favorite dishes are the karaage chicken, salmon sushi rolls, crunchy roll, and green dragon roll. The atmosphere inside isn’t anything fancy but it’s not off-putting at all. Also it’s very busy so it’s best to book ;)

This is my favourite place to get sushi for the cheap price and consistent, fresh food! Must try’s include the crunchy roll(on the specials menu), salmon rolls and karrage chicken. The rolls are huge and our bellies are always satisfied despite having a few big eaters in our group. The service is fast and friendly too. An added bonus is that you can ask for a membership card– 10 stamps earns you get $ 10 off your next bill.

Outside the middle of the city this has to be the best presented sushi restaurant with a great menu & unlike other options is open 7 days. Cost is normal for sushi of this caliber & size. I got a great feed for my money. Room for a pram. Booth seating(no walls) & other seating is well cushioned and great quality. Only negatives was Schweppes only drinks and that the tables were so tall my small child had difficulty eating at the table but it’s a small inconvenience that was made up by the children sized plastic bowls & cups which were provided. Plan to go back soon(and did). PS. I recommend reservations. The place was half reserved at 5pm on a Saturday.

This place just keeps getting better. The food is still exceptional, and the service is good. The problem is that its so good its always full of people. This means longer wait times, which are exaggerated by the fact the line area feels very closed in.

I’ve popped in here twice and it has been completely full both times, which speaks volumes for the quality of the food! So both my experiences have ended up being takeaway — but with their entire menu being available to takeaway, that has not been an issue at all. The food I’ve seen served on the tables has been extremely well presented, and the servings to take away have been generous, often with sauce /mayonnaise in a separate container so that crumbed food remains crisp when you return home. The price is very reasonable for Japanese food, and it is slightly cheaper than my closest Japanese takeaway. I’ve ordered teriyaki tofu both times and it was delicious, with quite big pieces of tofu. Despite being busy, they are reasonably quick to prepare food and get it out to you. I’ll definitely be back!

Thank you, Silver Sushi for always being there to curb my Japanese food cravings when I’m too lazy to go far for something yummy! Everything I’ve had here tastes and looks fabulous and the prices are really decent. Everyone I know who has ever eaten here raves about them too so we can’t all be wrong. My absolute favorite dish is the Kakuni(braised pork belly), which you can get as a side dish or over rice. The pork melts in your mouth and is just so dang tasty! My other favorite is the Sushi Burger, which isn’t listed on the menu. The soft shell crab sushi burger is my go-to — deep fried soft shell crab sandwiched between rice«buns» and wrapped with seaweed. Mmmmmmmm… Even their simplest salad is great! The restaurant isn’t very big, so it’s best to book a table in advance as they get packed.

I had no idea this restaurant existed in the Southlands Shopping Center, but this place is brilliant. Silver Sushi satisfies not only the diners who want staple Japanese food such bento boxes with terriyaki chicken, katsu chicken, oyako dons(chicken and egg over rice), and seaweed salad, but Silver Sushi also offers very fresh and well-prepared raw fish. The bf and I came here for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed two items off their specials menu. For sushi, we ordered the«Chef Freestyle Aburi Tasting Plate» which comes with six pieces of nigiri salmon, tuna, yellowtail, and scallop nigiris that are partly grilled/torched and topped with a sweet sauce. Some nigiris had a bit too much sauce, but I simply wiped any excess of of them. This item was really delicious and we’ll surely be back to have this again. We also ordered the Kakuni Don, which is braised pork belly and soft boiled egg dish on top of a bowl white rice. The pork belly was well flavored and the soft boiled egg was perfect. Next time, I’ll probably order it without the rice or «don» to try a few more items on the menu. Knowing that the fish is fresh here, I’m excited to try some more nigiri and sashimi specials.

I avtually found the variety of sushi they have on the menu to be really exciting. They dont just make the traditional seaweed wrapped sushi but a lot of specialty ones Portions are always great and i consider the price to be reasonable for its quality. Always satisfied and IMO it is the best local sushi place in perth. My go to is the spider roll! and the fried square entrée thing. the rainbow looking sushi is really good too in fact i think i have enjoyed everything ive ever tried on the menu: D

Silver Sushi is fantastic! It is tucked away with some generic take away and really does have quite a plain shop front. Aesthetically, inside is also more like the fast food outlets surrounding it, and we landed the wobbly table as well! We stuck it out because I was hungry, and because I had heard such great things from Unilocal.I checked out the menu, and was very surprised by how well priced everything was, and impressed with the range of sushi, as well as hot dishes. We settled on the tuna sashimi roll, and the Philly roll, pork gyozas and the grilled octopus. Given the prices, we thought we were on the money with how much we ordered. And then the sushi rolls came out, and they were the biggest rolls I have ever seen, and we must have missed the part on the menu where it said it included 8 pieces. And then the rest of our order was brought to us. The gyozas were incredible and full of flavour. The tuna roll was good, and the grilled octopus was well cooked — a little rubbery but packed a really great flavour. The highlight for me was the Philly roll. Wow. It was phenomenal, and my only regret is that we couldn’t finish it all! Staff are helpful and efficient — not overly personable, but they get the job done. From memory the bill was around $ 40 and between the two of us we couldn’t finish everything — absolutely no complaints here. I can’t wait to go back for that Philly roll!

You can judge a Japanese restaurant by the fish it serves, & Silver Sushi serves good fish. My fish came in the form of a salmon & avocado salad, which was shared between three at our table. I also had the karaage chicken rice bowl, & though it’s not as cheap as Takas, or as tasty as Dosukoi, it definitely held it’s own balance. The menu is not typically traditional Japanese, but a slight fusion of modern style sushi which is suitable for the neighbourhood area that it operates in.

I totally rate this place! we called Nobu today and they were fully booked out. This was our second choice and, the painful rejection from Nobu was a blessing in disguise… And this says a lot to us foodies! Not only is Silver Sushi local, but prices are very reasonable and the premises are clean. Most importantly the food we could not fault. We have been here previously for quick dinners and food is always consistent. The actual restaurant itself is small hence limited seats-Best to reserve a table to avoid disappointment. Service is standard. The Japanese tea being served has actual roasted rice grains! Just tasty!

Yep, five stars. This place blows my mind every time we go. The building space has been mired by cheap nasty food holes which have never managed to gain traction. Thankfully the world has been blessed with silver sushi. A phenomenal choice of sushi rolls ranging from your $ 8 standard sushi to $ 18 Dragon rolls. The restaurant interior isn’t the Ritz but it’s not MacDonald’s either, very clean very comfortable very acceptable for a date! BYO at no charge is an added bonus but in all honesty, you’re going here for the top notch grub, not the comfortable seats or ambiance.
