Oh my giddy aunt!!! This café is to die for! Their vegan, raw, GF treats are actually treat tasting, they taste so naughty but they’re so good for you. The service is spot on and their staff are always happy to see you. It’s definitely a go to place for my friends and I. Keep up the good work guys!

This is the best coffee shop in SA! Firstly the décor is awesome(it’s retro and unique — I love a bit of personality) and the staff are really friendly but most importantly the coffee is great. :) From my experience I can say that breakfast is absolutely delicious but also huge so come with an appetite. I love their home-made baked beans. Their cakes are delicious and their carrot cake is a real standout and again you get a huge slice. My absolute favourite thing on the menu which you must try if you like bananas is their banana, walnut and date smoothie, it’s amazing! I’ve been so many times and the Golden Fleece never dissapoints. If you’re ever in Willunga you have to visit the Golden Fleece they’re a true South Aussie gem. :)

I have had a number of coffees here lately, and they do vary. The best coffee maker I would say is the owner. I just wish she would train all the junior burgers up to make them just as good! Wish list! Her coffees are close to perfection so I’m not giving 5 stars until the others are up to scratch

Everything about this place is awesome. The food, the service, the coffee, the juices! I just wish we had one close to home also because I would be a regular. Can’t recommend this place enough. We had breakfast and it came out quickly and of a vey high standard. I love it even more when the chef brings it out to you.

OK, this place has taught me not to judge a book by its cover … I assume by its name that it used to be a petrol station — the frontage is a bit daggy, and I thought it was a greasy spoon/sandwich bar, so was quite surprised when I saw their rather sophisticated menu! With trendy items such as pulled pork and beef, sliders, etc. as well as more traditional fare, this place would suit most people. I ordered the aforementioned sliders(which were AMAZING!!), and Anita had the pumpkin soup(which she thoroughly enjoyed). The prices were very reasonable too. I would have given this place 5 stars if it wasn’t for the worst soy latte I have ever had … seriously! I thought they served Bonsoy, but my latte was definitely *not* made with Bonsoy. On closer inspection of their ‘display boxes’ on the counter, there was another cheap brand of soy milk, so I assume that you have to specifically ask for Bonsoy. I thought that I was just being a soy snob(and mentioned to the guy at the counter that I should have asked for Bonsoy when he asked if my coffee was ok), but after a short amount of time the milk and coffee separated, rendering it undrinkable. Maybe I should have said more at the time instead of assuming it was just me — well, that’s why I’m saying it here ;) So I then had a long black, which was just OK — I don’t think that good coffee is high on their list of priorities. Overall, the food was so good that I would come back here again — maybe I’ll try a tea instead? ;)

This ‘retro’ little café in Willunga has the best iced mocha I’ve ever had!!! The veggie patties I got for brunch were pretty good too, as was the beetroot relish that came with it… Too bad about the scrambled eggs though, which were overcooked and flavourless. The ‘retro’ vibe was not really my thing either, to me it smacked of trying way too hard… The service could have been better too– our waitress did not smile once!

The best poached eggs I’ve ever had! Very affordable and incredibly friendly staff. The coffee is pretty damn close to perfect and the milkshakes and cheesecakes are perfect to finish your meal. If you are looking for an affordable, quirky, friendly place(with housemade juice) look no further!

I discovered this quirky café on the main street in Willunga while passing through. There is lots of outdoor seating to enjoy the sunshine as well as well as formica tables inside. The ambience is relaxed and cheerful. I was immediately distracted by their cake cabinet which was loaded with home made goodies. The chocolate brownies were on free tasting and they were very good. The breakfast and lunch menu were both on offer(at just after 12pm on a weekday) and the friendly staff gave me a run down on the best options by asking me how hungry I was and what I was looking for. How nice to be helped! I settled on the vegetable stack and was not disappointed. Beetroot and goats cheese around a neat stack of fritters and roasted veges, topped with a perfectly balanced poached egg and some greens. The tea I ordered was served in a pot with a little milk bottle on the side — cute! There was a great kids menu from cocoa pops through to a mini cooked breakfast and loads of Golden Books to keep them diverted while you wait. As I had left mine at school, I enjoyed some alone time via their internode wifi. I spent about $ 18 and considered it good value. There were fresh juices and a diverse interesting menu to ensure something for everyone.
