I am incredibly impressed with this café! I went in thinking ‘they’re organic, they must be very expensive’. To my surprise they were cheaper than what I was expecting and both the coffee and food were delicious. I’ll definitely be back :-)

There isn’t much to say that hasn’t already been said — everyone on our table of 5 ordered the Green Envy and everyone enjoyed it! my only complaint was that my egg was a little over cooked, but everyone else’s was perfect! I felt healthy and happy after eating my avocado, goats curd and egg concoction and i am definitely keen to come back and try some of the delicious(and healthy)! looking treats in the cake fridge — I just didn’t have room in my tummy after visiting the market on this occasion!

Every town needs it’s own organic café and you’d never notice it there. It’s not very bright from the outside but it is on the inside. Of course it’s green and so is the food. I had the toasted panini with pumpkin, fetta, zucchini, olive, and preserved lemon. Yum! Topped off with an organic iced chocolate. Who doesn’t love organic? And this place isn’t too expensive like you’d expect, just $ 11 for the panini. Most food is around this price. I like the casual laid back staff too. Sitting outside is perfect on a sunny day. It’s a must when visiting willunga.

This little delight is thankfully the next suburb away from me but also worth the drive if you are not a local. Great for vegans and those that are gf, but don’t be put off those of you that are gluttonous like me, fresh and local diverse range of meals, tasty treats and smoothies. And affordable. Plus if your rugrats need to be kept from deconstructing the joint, there is a lovely garden complete with sandpit plus a children’s play area inside. These guys are passionate about fresh, local food and I do not recommend sharing as you will easily wipe the plate clean like I did.

Thank god I dined alone, as my breakfast at The Green Room was not simply devoured this morning, it was inhaled. You know those moments where you, a little too enthusiastically, chop up the food on your plate and scrape all the different ingredients onto one fork so you get the most of the combination of flavours in one scoff? No? Well toffy apple you should do it one time, and if you do, then do it here. My Green Envy breakfast was full of farm fresh poached eggs, crisp, but not crunchy, english muffins, topped with ripe avocado, spinach and pesto and drizzled with a sweet and sour vinegar beetroot sauce. I even had to interrupt my lovely morning coffee up until the moment I’d finished wiping up the left over sauce and tomato chutney with my english muffin. Green Room prides itself on sourcing between 70−90% of its produce locally and all organically. And despite the low price tag of breakfast($ 16), you can tell in every bite that the food you’re putting in your belly is organic and made with a view to keep you healthy and happy. The service wasn’t spectacular from the girl behind the counter on the day but I don’t care. I’m still beaming from my breakfast on their balcony in the sun!

Love it! Definitely my favourite place to eat in Willunga. Plenty of delicious vegetarian and vegan food and deserts, they make great coffee too and don’t even get me started on the amazing fresh juices! I highly recommend the harvest breakfast and the veggie burger. A lot of the things can also be made vegan instead of vegetarian. The blue mushroom was amazing but it was recently taken off the menu, I think it’s a seasonal thing and hopefully will be back on the menu in the colder months. Even my dad who likes to eat meat really enjoyed it here. The only thing I can think of to improve on is that if you order a tea it is very weak but the friendly staff have no problem sorting that out if you request. The atmosphere is really nice, there’s plenty of outdoor seating, both in the back garden and out the front. Everything is Eco friendly, even the menus look recycled and homemade which is a really nice touch and of course good for the environment. I love the attention to detail like the cute teapots. It just feels so homely here. I come here all the time and have never had a bad experience. I can’t really fault it. 5 stars!

Greenie Heaven Had your fill at Willunga Farmer’s Market and still yearning for more hippy heaven? Cross the main road and relax into more organic bliss. A local haunt and Willunga gem this is a true vego delight. The bike brigade were also out in full force(always a good sign if the Old Men In Lycra have adopted) on the Saturday we were there. A delightful hippy haven welcoming everyone — vego or not. All day breakfasts, vego burgers, delish soups and gorgeous sweet treats are highlights. Meals are very generous and excellent value. Creativity abounds — fancy a chocolate avocado tart anyone? There is a gallery exhibiting local artists, books for sale, teas, and a small range of organic lines including skin care. There are newspapers, a community noticeboard, local mags and also a play area for kids and a very large backyard come outdoor eating area if the kids turn completely feral. Or park yourself on the cosy front deck and watch the Willunga community go by. On out most recent visit we indulged in home made brownies and fabulous coffee. The Green Room is a point of difference in the southern vales offering a very relaxed and welcoming alternative to the gourmet niche cafes in the area.
