A friend invited me here to trial it out as she got an invite from the Café.(So it was a free dinner for me: D) Tapas style restaurant for the dinner service. To start we got the toasted Turkish break with humus & cashew basil. The bread was so crispy and the basil was my favourite. The next items we got were the: –Kentucky bourban meat balls –Finger lickin chicken wings –Spicy chorizo hot dog –Risotto for 2 with chilli prawn –Chickpea socca stack –Beef empanades Favorites were the meat balls and beef empanades. The chorizo hot dog was very heavy! Any meat eater would love this. Because the staff were slowly transitioning into their summer menu, we got to sample a few delicious summer cocktails including a Gin Mojito, A strawberry & Aperol spritz and their famous salted caramel espresso martini! Zena who was our waiter for the evening was very kind and helped explain all the dishes as well as recommend the favourites. Finally, the dessert was one of the best I’ve ever tasted! It was more like an ice cream sandwich which consisted of frozen banana cheesecake + Nutella in between two white chocolate chip cookies accompanied with coffee & Kahlua foam in a cup. There was a party in my mouth! And it was amazing! Who knew this cute little café existed! Overall, was a pleasure to go try out the menu and i will definitely be back as a paying customer just to have that dessert again!

I’m finding it hard to assign a star rating to Spicer Street. When we first moved back to Sydney, this was a favourite for us almost every weekend– the cilbir(poached eggs, ham, greek yoghurt, covered in a paprika butter sauce) is AMAZING. SOSOGOOD. Coffee is also excellent BUT Service is soooooo slow. Sometimes we can wait for about 20 minutes just for someone to take our order, we always have to ask 3 or 4 times for water and food can take up to 45 minutes. We have also ordered other things from the menu and they are really average. If you have time and are going to get the Cilbir and coffee– go there tomorrow. If not, there’s probably better places to go.

Was just strolling around Woollahra when we stumbled upon this place mid-afternoon Saturday. It’s cozy and doesn’t look like much, but the guys working there were super friendly, answered all questions we had(including packing us coffee beans,) and even fired up a menu special they stopped serving. Loved the tunes playing here as well, which leans towards a younger crowd. Coffee was superb, and the chilli bacon stack I had was awesome. Great flavours with fresh ingredients. Bacon, avocado, poached eggs, and chilli on sourdough. Dope. Will definitely come back if I’m in the area.

Great little hide away café. Their food is fresh/organic and served up in an interesting yet tasty way. I had the Bircher Muesli which was served in a glass cup layered with fresh fruit and Greek yoghurt. Delicious! Aside from Bills probably the best breakfast we have had in Woollahra, Sydney. Would have got 5 stars but they were flat out and it did take a while for food to come. It was worth the wait however.

This is a nice neighbourhood café on a serene street just off Queen St. I like the tucked-away feel of the place and the owners seem like nice guys. The other real bonus is the space — there’s both outdoor and indoor seating and even with what seems like a packed house, I’ve never not found a place to sit here. The coffee really is something and the banana bread is out of this world and I would have given it more stars but I haven’t tried the food — the café always invariably ends up as an after-lunch thing-to-do for me. Go for the sense of serenity and space — it is a little bit of a rarity around Woollahra.
