Great food, wonderful atmosphere and service on an unusually frigid night in August. Try several beers — the selection demands it. Rabbit is great. Also the herring.

Worst service I’ve ever had — definitely not the best way to have spent my one evening in Antwerp. They market themselves as a being a beer tasting room yet all the beers are over-priced. Giving it two-stars because the meal(beef stew) was good.

A very decent spot to have a meal and a good beer. Lots of fine, traditional Belgian dishes on offer. While the beer list doesn’t have too many uncommon beers to offer, all the classics are present, plus a few other interesting ones. The restaurant itself is lovely, and if the weather is nice you simply MUST eat in the couryard.(On our visit it was wonderfully sunny and sit in the courtyard we most certainly did.) Prices here are pretty much par for the course — which is to say, not bad. This place is definitely more of a ‘great food place with decent beer’ than a straight-up beer place, but it’s probably one of the best places to have a meal with beer in Antwerp.

Good beer, but bad service. Disinterested and mostly grumpy staff meant some things that were ordered arrived, some had to be ordered again and others didn’t turn up at all. This is what I have come to know as Traditional Belgian Service. Nice courtyard setting and flowing beers though!
