We had a fantastic dinner here. The rabbit was absolutely fantastic. Sea bass, scampi, and sauerkraut platter were also very good. Service fast, friendly, and professional. The property itself is comfortable with a nice, classy atmosphere and a very convenient location.

Great food at a great location. On the pricier side, but the food is well made and comes with an excellent beer/wine pairing suggestion.

We loved our lunch here so much we came back for dinner! The service was great despite being crazy busy, our waiter Jamal took great care of us for both meals! Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection and we trusted our waiter with every beer pairing and he never disappointed! It was pricey for lunch(65 €) but worth every penny!

The amount of seafood consumed here on my last day in Antwerp was really gross. I ate so much that I almost felt sick but that just shows how delicious this place was. We got the seafood tower and the classic dish of mussels in white wine/garlic sauce and it was all so delicious. The service was super nice and the worst part about this place was probably the tiramisu. I would definitely be back if I were to be back in Antwerp.

I had an app of mussel meat and had the cheese croquettes. Simply superb. You’ll want to make reservations. The view is great from inside looking at the church. It’s a great location and the servers are nice. There’s a whole page in the menu devoted to mussels. Would come here again if I’m in town again.

Well, i must say the food was ok, not too shabby at all. BUTBUT the waiter was the killer. No smile, no nothing, he was like a robot. Hence he was effecient, but i would prefer a bit of warm smile plus efficiency together… So guys polish up with the waiters please.

Good location with nice interior and friendly waiters, and a free portion of snails to try. There was no bread however, the white wine was warm by the time the food arrived and the steak was tough and overcooked. Fish knife would be nice, as would a steak knife and salt. Trout was served without the promised almond crust. Altogether okay but overpriced.

Perfect place to have dinner the historical centrum of Antwerp. Service was perfect and very attentive. The specialized beers for every dish are a «must-order» for every beer-lover.

Reservations is highly recommended for this restaurant, especially if you want to sit outside in nice weather. They had the most interesting mussel menu with variations that were not available at other restaurants. We had the mussels provencaal(tomato, leek, onion, basil, thyme, rosemary) and a l’armoricaine(cognac). It also had a very impressive beer menu and pairings. The wait staff was attentive and very polite. Though the menu was in Dutch, the staff spoke English.

Thanks Unilocal

oldest eatery in Antwerp(1750) made au courant by young locals and reopened recently. has extensive Belgian beer list all served on particular glassware(pokal, tulip, stein, snifter, pauwel kwak) and matched with food. the menu is entirely in dutch, so for mussels, go to page titled«Mosselen» with a choice of preparations. had moules with oh-so-good curry sauce this time with, per usual, killer fries. trivia: in a nod to its historic past as a travellers stop, a bowl of daily«soup koetsier(coachman)» is offered to city guides and drivers free of charge.

Älteste Frituur von Antwerpen. Tolle Look aber viel zu hohe Preise. Naja liegt auch in der Touristenstrasse
