La verrière horta est superbe, c’est dommage qu’elle soit cachée par des alcôves.
Effectivement, c’est un lieu trèssss chic, mais si vous avez très faim, passez votre chemin, ou ouvrez votre portefeuille.
ATTENTION: soyez sûrs que le plat choisi n’est pas une entrée… Pour les suggestions, rien n’indique les entrées des plats… C’est ainsi que j’ai eu trois petites saint jacques, un rien de sauce, et une seule tranche de chorizo pour mes st jacques chorizo… Un peu exagéré quand même pour 20 euros!
Cela dit, le poisson était cuit à point, très frais. C’était très bon. La quantité m’a laissée froide.
Vous n’aurez pas de mises en bouches, ni de petits biscuits apéro. Juste deux trois tranches de pain avec l’huile d’olive à table pour saucer (j’étais heureuse de les avoir!).
Le service est rapide. Effectivement, c’est dommage que la structure moderne oblitère celle art nouveau.
L’hygièné a l’air d’être respectée.,

On y va pour le nom «Horta», mais le faux plafond et la mezzanine gâchent le plaisir. Ambiance vaguement chic/​snob: les serveurs né sont pas là pour rigoler. Ceci dit, le boeuf à la citronnelle est succulent.

I love the Horta Grand Café!
When I first moved to Belgium, my first taste of Belgian food was at the Horta (in fact my first visit was my first evening in Belgium). I specifically chose the most Belgian items on the menu — shrimp kroketten and steak tartare paired with Belgian beer — and fell in love with the cuisine.
The food is always delicious! I’ve been many times and have never been disappointed.

The atmosphere is what drew me to this spot. The indoor and outdoor areas are both very beautiful, with glass walls and lots of incoming light.
The food presentation is very strong. They have a good range of dishes on the menu. I had a sea bass with tagliatelle, crab, and clams. The dish was really good and mixture of flavors was nice.
The bread and olives were both excellent. Overall, I think it’s 4.5 stars.
Service is also very good and an easy place to eat if you don’t speak French or Dutch.
I came on a Friday night and no reservations needed. However some tables were reserved.

This restaurant is a great room with fantastic architectural elements. The food and drink also rank high on the quality and inventiveness scales. Very attentive staff, sidewalk seating is available when the weather is nice. Excellent selection of belgian ales are also available here allowing you to make yourself a little beer dinner if desired. Desserts were especially kick ass here.

Buen ambiente y muy buen café. El baby se nos ha dormido en el banco/​sofá, y con la música tranqui que ponen se esta echando una buena siesta. El batido de chocolate blanco y frambuesa es de tamaño industrial.

sehr schönes, Restaurant mit Flair! Die interessante Architektur mit viel Glas beeindruckend!
Wir saßen Anfang Oktober bei 24 Grad am Abend auf der Terrasse und haben ein vorzüglich gutes Menue gegessen mit einer schönen Vorspeisenplatte mit Lachs und Salat. Danach gab es ein sehr feines Kalbfleisch mit knackigem Gemüse und Katoffeln. Zum guten Abschluss ein hervorragendes Schokoladenmousse der 1. Sahne.
Der Champagner ein Traum und der Wein lecker!
Würde das Café Horta natürlich wieder besuchen!
Leider war der Service etwas planlos, darum nicht die volle Punktzahl.
