We are giving this place an A-Ok because * Place was not fabulous but a decent hotel *I finally found a hotel with a descent tub. *Bed not impressive but a fair size to sleep on. *Dutchman loved how we were in the center of Antwerp. *I loved how we were close proximity to all the best shops. * I loved that we were down the street from Gusto, which served the best mojitos! * My favorite salon was a 10 minute walk * We enjoyed Horta for a fabulous lunch. Negative Part: *Disadvantage part to this hotel is that the rooms are small. * Dutchman said it was too many mosquitoes lurking around the breakfast area. I guess he meant the people. He thought the breakfast space was too tight. * If you pay for a standard breakfast and request for Gluten Free Bread, then they have the nerves to charge you 6 Euros additional to the standard breakfast. I can buy a whole loaf of bread, instead of paying 6 Euros for a slice of Gluten Free Bread. *Coffee is very much low quality but other then that give it a try. * However despite a few down falls over all it is an OK hotel and customer service is good.

Stayed here over the weekend after finding a good deal on the internet for the hotel and as cheap as it was, it is a really really nice hotel in a decent location. The rooms are very clean and the king size bed seemed to be king size-plus. When I travel, I like to have a tv with some English channels other than CNN and this one had the BBCs, ITVs and of course the Dutch and Flemish ones that show English shows in English. Yes, I know I’m petty but hey, that’s me. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel but we didn’t try it. Breakfast was an extra 20 euros, which I thought ridiculously pricey, so we went down the road for omlettes that were less than half that price. The staff members were very nice and helpful, there is a computer in the lobby for free internet access and I believe you can get wireless there too, though not in the rooms. If you’re going to stay in Antwerp, check this place out! Oh, on Sunday there is a market just some 50 meters or so away. Oh, we were close to the elevators on the 6th floor and my fellow travellers told me that they were often disturbed in the night by the noise that the Otis machines made. Me, I sleep through anything!
