We stayed at the Air BnB upstairs and the staff an owner could not have been better hosts. They made us reservations at restaurants etc, and generally took great care of us! Coffee and pastries were very good.

Stylish, enjoyable interior. Friendly service. Great coffee. Healthy soup every day. Nice newspaper and magazine selection. As good as a coffee bar can get!

Eh. Overrated. Coffee is alright, but nothing special. Try Koffie Onan in Leuven. That place is fucking amazing. Cheesecake is not good at all.

L’endroit est agréable, les cafés pas mauvais (mais pas a tomber a la renverse quand même), mais l’accueil et le service confinent au dilettantisme, et c’est bien dommage.

The place is near downtown and it is very comfortable and cozy inside.
I ordered orange juice, latte and bread with butter and jam.
The juice was from a brick but the rest was good. Coffee is very tasty and smooth. I ordered another one :)
I’d give it a 5* but gave 4 because of the juice, it lowered the high quality

Ce café vaut le déplacement rien que pour la déco du comptoir ! Sans conteste une bonne adresse pour un petit déj’ ou un tea time à Gand, je l’avais dénichée dans mon guide pour le week end (ma Bible, le Cartoville).
Excellent café — on peut d’ailleurs repartir avec un sachet, présentation des plats à l’image de la vitrine: sobre et élégante. Nous avons cependant regretté de choisir la formule «All the way”(la totale pour 20 €): si c’était à refaire, nous prendrions à la carte.
En effet, si on nous a servi de très bons produits (+1 pour le jus d’oranges pressées): oeuf à la coque parfaitement cuit, muesli, fruits frais, fromage, viennoiseries et tout le tralala mais boire une coupe de Prosecco de bon matin, très peu pour moi. J’ai aussi trouvé dommage que le menu né soit pas traduit en anglais alors que nous n’étions pas les seuls étrangers à avoir passé la porte de ce joli endroit.

Sweet Sweet Citrus tones of Caffeine laced flat white deliciousness. Best coffee I had since I touched down in Europe. I’m nothing more then an addict I don’t profess to know whats up with coffee I can taste three types, the Sydney tag team of either Liquorice or Citrus and more recently in the Netherlands the bitter, bitter Hateful flavour. I like Citrus. These guys are nailing it. ALso a wonderful hot chocolate as you’d hope for in Belgium. Café Labath where tight, professional good tasting and prompt dreams, CAN and WILL come true; much like David Bowie’s lycra leggings in Labyrinth.

I’ve been coming here for a while now (owner used to teach at my high school actually). The coffee is excellent, easily the best one (along with Mokabon) in Gent. Their tea selection (while not as extensive) is very good too, as are their cakes/​pies. Slightly hipster-​y but still very diverse crowd (everyone from elderly people to high school students).

As soon as you get in, you can’t help but notice the inebriating smell of toasted coffee beans.
Nice vibe, excellent coffee and warm atmosphere. Interesting magazines to read and nice background music to go with.
We had a Chocolate Girl and a Latte, from the wide choice of warm drinks.
Gent style at its best.
