One of the best memories I have of living in Karlsruhe Germany as a kid… Going to the bread shop. You could smell this shop halfway down the street. The Germans are masters of bread, nobody does it better! Love this place!

This is the local favorite bakery.Every morning there’s a long queue, on saturdays usually even worse. No wonder really, ‘coz their breads are really really good, the prices are okay and the shop assistants there are very friendly.

This place is worth a try if you like pastries and coffee. They are definitely beautiful to look and enjoy on a nice day. For my visit I had a cappuccino, a slice of apple pie, and a chocolate mousse thing. The pie and mousse were just ok, nothing crazy amazing. The cappuccino was good.If you’ve never been here…
