By far my favourite pub in Maynooth.Since my youth I have been frequenting the roost. Back in the day (8 years ago until 3 years ago) the place was a lot more of «a dive» than it is currently. Roost

Absolutely love this place does be full to at times there does be to many people there and it’s hard to get a drink at the bar there is a ton of college students in the place so it gets lively the place is mostly full of farmers and student’s so does be funny watching them trying to get along

Mantra

This is a nice little pub in Maynooth. Can’t comment on the food as we arrived about 5 minutes too late to order, but not to worry, being a great little student town we got Aberakebabra not 5 minutes up the road!Grand atmosphere & never empty, even mid week.

O’Neills Bar

Mantra is gone and Cathedral has replaced it. Apparently this place has had a 2 million euro makeover… gulp. Although I guess if your house was 30,000 sq ft it might cost a few bob alright.This place bills itself as a smoke house grill kinda thing so I was expecting ribs, burgers etc, instead we got caprese…
