I went to San Gimignano on a day trip during a recent visit to Siena. The little hilltop town is very charming with gorgeous views over the Tuscan countryside.Earlier in the day my friend and I had eaten lunch in a more touristy piazza for the purposes of soaking up the sun, which was nice enough, however…
Just about perfect. Pizzas were quit tasty as well as the gnocci genovese. The local San Gimignano wines were great especially the Magnificao. It was worth the price.
Good place to eat without spending a lot of money, but the quality is not the best. We tried penne with truffle and they were ok, while pizza and the mix of «salumi» were good. They have different specials in the range 9 – 12 €, and free wifi.
