The Knot

Its very busy even on a monday, the beer is cheap and the food is too. the place seems to attract all of ellesmere ports wierdos and oddballs that like to stand outside smoking. apart from that its your typical Wetherspoons and its not bad.

The Thomas Telford

This is a nice little pub, quite spacious and with a reasonably priced bar. They have a jukebox with a decent selection of music, but the real attraction is when they have a band playing… see the event I’ve added :)

Nice local pub with friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. I was in town visiting some family and we came here our first Friday night. Being from the US we don’t have many local casual bars we either have restaurants or fancy bars and clubs with an age range of 20 – 40. It was nice to see people in here ages 18…

This pub seems reasonably popular with the immediate locals, but mostly because they know each other I think. It reminds of a pub of about 20 years!
