Food was good, Service was excellent, staff bent over backwards to meet the needs of our 5 year old — rustled up a banana split (even though it wasn’t on the menu).Nice environment and would happily use it again.

We have been to this pub about four times in 2009. I must agree with Timinator the menu is a little overbearing with it written on blackboards all round the eating/bar area. I’m hovering between two and three stars!The beer is good in here, (if you’re into real ale), but the food is nothing to write home about.They do have a quiz, I think on Wednesdays, which is quite entertaining and it isn’t a bad night out.
