Just a little update for this place. It’s now become our local pub. Staff very friendly good range of real ale and lager on tap. Called last night and had a nice little drink before dinner. The fact that we have made this our local when there are 2 other pubs closer to home should speak for itself.
Since my original review over 3 years back The Greyfriar has only improved. A recent refurbishment included new toilet facilities-much needed!- and new seating areas and continually improving selection of real ales.The food however continues to be sub-standard compared to other Wetherspoons.The prices are…
Fond memories of this place while visiting my dear friends from Preston. Great beers and Great discussions of the day went on here. I’m surprised no one has erected a statue to commemorate my times here!
A terrific pub & eating venue. It’s slightly out of Bamber Bridge at the north end of the town, but well served by Preston to Bolton buses. If I lived more within striking distance, I’d love to treat friends to food & beer.
