What a fantastic country pub! its good to see there are pubs still out that stay true to its roots!!! I would reconmend it to all my friends and family. superb location, Nice atmosphere, and dog friendly.

Popped in for lunch on a cycle from London to Brighton service very good, the food great. Shame I was only having a quick lunch, menu looked fantastic the risotto would be worth cycling back for again.Really nice, clean restaurant with small garden well worth a visit

Went there with three young girls with learning disabilities, hoping to have a drink to celebrate one of the girls 17 birthday. As one of the girl shouted (due to excitment) soon as we arrived, the man behind the bar stated that he was not happy about the noise. We had little choice but to leave. Great pub!

Unpleasant, nasty atmosphere. Exceptionally rude staff who prefer to serve locals only. Possibly the worst and most unwelcoming pub in Sussex. Don’t bother — I won’t.
