Great place to unwind from urban life snd see wild life. The area around the reeds can feel dodgy, with trails which one should not explore. Thr trails next to the highway contain trash thrown by inconsiderate drivers.

Mystic River Reservation

This place is pretty much as Patrick described it, only 4 yrs later. Midday on a Saturday my 5 & 3 yr olds are the only kids here…Fortunately there are no trashy pre/teens here either. Unfortunately, the spray area does not seem to be on, despite it being after Memorial Day…

Capen Street Park

The Fellsway and Woodland Road desperately need crosswalks, sidewalks, and crossing buttons that start indicator lights. Crossing between the sections was very dangerous. Very frustrating to deal with so many trailheads ending as a dead ends on busy roads, couldn’t figure out where to cross between E/W…
