The parking lot contains four handicap accessible parking spots, two of which are van accessible. The curb cut is very low and easy to use. The ramp is shallow. The walkways vary between hard surface and hard packed gravel. It is easy to push a manual wheelchair on the hard packed gravel despite the fact that it is gravel. There is a public boat ramp where you can launch a kayak or canoe. There is a hard top ramp that leads down to the water’s edge. It is wide enough for a wheelchair, although the embankment is so steep, it would be difficult to get one’s chair down their without a spotter, without careening into the river! The park is situated along the Mystic River in Medford. It contains grassy areas, which are great for running your dog, a Shell stage where they can feature performances, a boat launching area for canoes and kayaks, park benches, trees etc. The Shell is not HP accessible so if you are a performer who requires a HP ramp you would find only stairs to get you up onto the stage.
