Super gorgeous. Came here after dinner in the summer and sat in front of East River, watching the sun set against the Manhattan skyline. They usually put out nice moveable tables and chairs too! Great selection of dinner places and an ice cream stand in the vicinity.

Gateway National Park - Jamaica Bay Unit

Save your money and do not rent pedal boats in Prospect Park. We rented a boat today only to find ourselves stuck with a broken boat. We had to be towed back in. The back pedals would not turn at all. When I asked for a refund, I was told that that was not possible.
