They have a good variety of rices, they sell plantains (often a tough find in the burgh), and on the weekends around 12pm, they have fresh Samosa-great when fresh. As mentioned in a prior review, check packages before you purchase.
Ok, you eat out right? Chances are excellent you’ve already enjoyed something that GFS provides to your favorite place. This is the same stuff the big truck drops off at the back door of your diner. Only now you can cut out the middleman and take it home and do it yourself.Clean, friendly, free coffee to enjoy…
Sadly this store seems to be getting run down and even grubby. The meat and deli glass display cases were not clean, the meat scales needed a thorough wiping down, and even the produce items lacked freshness. I’ve shopped there for years, so I hope they stay around but the store needs a lot of work.
This Giant Eagle is always busy. It seems rather small and gets crowded fast. They do however sell beer in the café area. That is the only real reason I would return to this location.
