My girlfriend recently moved close by to this place. At 10pm most stores and bars are closed, so we went here to check it out. When we first walked in the server/hostess told us that there was an hour wait for food since the kitchen was backed up. I looked around and the place wasn’t even that busy. I told her it was fine and we sat down at the bar, however, the food arrived very fast. We both ordered beer and had some appetizers. The food was decent. Remember there is not many places open late. First thing I noticed was there were a lot of children at the bar area, something that is weird to me. The service was slow and the servers are very clueless, but I expect that from a small town due to being use to not being that busy. Small issued arose like the beer can they gave my girlfriend was dented and was not given a glass with it to pour it out. So when she tried to drink from the can it spills away from her mouth. Another issue I noticed is that they don’t like to sell beer, my glass was empty for 20 mins before a server came, she only came to get the empty plates, I had to ask for another beer. If this place was in Toronto I would of given it a 1 star. Considering it is a small town, open late and that I may have been spoiled to fast service. My rating is reflected.

I visit here about once or twice a year and last night I ordered three $ 5 pints of draft and 1 pound of wings that were regularly $ 11.99 full price which is insane but when I visited they were half off. The beer was nice and cold and very good(for Molson Canadian) and the wings were garbage overcooked BBQ rocks. at the end of the night my bill was $ 36 with 20% tip included. Way too much money for the service and low quality food I received, I don’t recommend eating here and if you can. visit sone place else. 20% tip only went to the poor girl bartender because every drunk she took orders from kept asking her where she was from threw beer coasters at her to get het attention, no class loogins.

We have been to this restaurant several times in the past few years. Good drink and appetizer specials. Service is usually good. You will be well cared for at this location. I have had the steak, a steak sandwich and a hamburger special. All were prepared with care and were flavourful. A fun atmosphere, although loud. This is to be expected though with a roadhouse atmosphere. We will definitely be back.

The kind of place that really has no competition not because of quality but because there’s not many other bars/restaurants in town. Decent prices on drink specials. Friendly service. Food is ho hum slow to arrive. Unexceptional burger. Thai noodles are topped with deep fried chicken pieces resembling tiny shrimp. Bizarre combination of wilted(as in old) Greek salad with potato salad(are you kidding?) Guinness on draft tasted stale. This place needs help, but really, why should it bother?
