A&W is my favourite fast food place. Reliably good. I would recommend the waterfront station location over this one but this is situated so close to Metrotown and not as busy as the food court. Location is great right by the sky train. Last night my French fries were soaked in oil and not edible but that is the only time this has ever happened at any A&W location. If I had opened the take out paper bag to check my order before leaving, I have no doubt they would have been happy to replace the fries. The chubby chicken burger hits the spot when you’re starving.

I come here ’cause it is the closet quick thing before going home late at night. Not the greatest burger but at least it fills my belly before. Customer service always screws up my service, therefore, allow some additional time for corrections. Prices are expensive for what it is, therefore, my best friend and I only go when we have coupons.

Food appearance subpar but taste was outstanding. Counter person was a bored looking teenager with long dagger spiky blue sparkly nails. Odd. Enjoyed a teen burger combo with onion rings instead of fries and a frosty mug of iced tea. Drink was amazing. Looked amazing. Awesome they filled it way up. Not awesome couldn’t move it without spilling. Guilt. I asked for extra onion-ring spice — as usual it’s like they put them all together in the fryer(all stuck to one another) then pulled the mass out and spiced one side. Still yummy though. The wrap was sad looking but tasted truly amazing. Smokey. Enjoyable. Not pretty. Finally the teen burger. Felt homemade just off the BBQ in its tasty fresh goodness. Almost too much to bite into the onions were stronger tasting than I would’ve asked and the cheese although present didn’t stand out.
