Their chiller is HUGE and it’s cold. Supply is not replenished enough though. Staff is very friendly and store is rarely busy. Hours are great too. Nobody can beat this location. All BC Liquor stores should be like this.

Why aren’t all the BC liquor stores equipped with a walk in cooler like this place?
Anyway, the beer and wine selection is pretty good and there’s enough of a decent spirit choice to fit most needs.
Plenty of parking and no big crowds. There’s plenty of other shops at a stones throw (fish market fresh, fruit & veg market, a Pricesmart, London drugs) and a couple of restaurants. Very convenient.
Just off Marine drive in Burnaby, it’ has easy and quick access.
Friendly staff as well.

This is a great store for all your basic wine and beer needs. They also offer cold beer. Because it’s a BC Liquor Store, they can offer the aforementioned cold beer at lower prices than at a private liquor store.
While this isn’t a good location if you’re looking for a wide variety of whiskies or an obscure liqueur, it’s great if you’re looking for a bottle of wine or some cold beer to bring to a party.

This might be my new favorite liquor store, I really like the one on Cambie by Oakridge and I still think it has the best selection. But this one is closer to my place and has the big «walk-​in cooler» of beer which is awesome, doesn’t matter too much now in the winter but come summer time it’ll be great to buy your beer already cold and not paying extra for it. It’s also quite new too so I guess not too many people know about it yet so it’s never that busy, I was there on Christmas eve expecting it to be a madhouse but it wasn’t. The hours are also good…11pm every nite but Sunday I think. Beer is good! :)

Enjoy its 11pm closing times, 7 days a week except Sundays.
Not as big as the Oakridge one, but has enough of the basics.
Lots of parking, and no fighting the crowds. pretty convenient when you’re shopping at Price smart.
