Take a look at the windows in the restaurant and how dirty they are. Like very disgusting. Pointed it out to the server and was told that they don’t open the blinds and they would prefer if we closed then again. Gross and dirty. Food took way too long to get and almost felt like we were forgotten about. I feel envious looking at the people at cactus club through the gross window. I should be there.

I was here for one of my friend’s birthday parties. I came here a couple of times. One of which was the 2011 Stanley Cup Final Game 4 on Sunday and the service was good. However, when I went for their burgers and fries, I kid you not, it was the worst fries I have ever had. It was so salty that even MSG would have been killed by this. They were so salty, I had to drink an entire waterfall and it would still not be enough water for me to stop this madness. The service was decent, but it is one of those things where you decide that this is not the place if you want anything with potatoes at all.

Boston Pizza is a main favorite but we did not have a great experience tonight. I went with 2 other friends during happy hour. We ordered cactus cuts and dry ribs(each $ 5). Our waitress came back a while later to inform us that they don’t have dry ribs. No worries. So we order beer, a Canadian and a Bud. Our waitress came back to inform us that they don’t have Bud anymore. That’s fine. I ordered another drink. So we tried their $ 18.99 special(either an appie or a dessert and main-which are all new entrees). I ordered their new soup(roasted red pepper and gouda soup) and their roasted red pepper tortellini with chicken(minus the chicken but same price). The waitress came again, not her fault, to inform us that they have no soup. Regardless, the pasta was too salty, the waitress was fine, but all in all, I should have cooked at home. Boston Pizza, I’m disappointed.

Boston pizza is not my kind of place to start with but seems to be the place of choice for work outings,. ugh. BP is a boring chain. Unhealthy uninspired food like a factory. The staff here is smarmy and overly familiar in an effort to be casual, Their pizzas are not great or the type I like, but if you must have something there, I think that is it,. get something with ground beef, I found that tasty and almost cover the taste of the plasticy crust.

Their drink list seems catered to 12 year olds. Their food is as bad as the atmosphere, but they didn’t, until recently warrant a review. I was cooking a late impromptu dinner and had all the ingredients except for an onion. I raced to Save on, missed it by a minute and as I started to drive to a 24⁄7 grocery store 20 minutes away, I had an idea. Ask Cactus Club. Their line up was out the door, so I decided to ask BP to sell me an onion. Figured they’d just give me one for PR. But no. After 3 different employees discussed the merit of my request, they agreed to sell me an onions worth of extra toppings… and the insisted on slicing it and charging $ 8.25. I left $ 10. Drove home getting madder and madder. Called to voice my complaint and was told I was lucky they did me a favor and that no one else would have. Well I’ve asked everywhere I’ve been since and all have stated they’d have just tossed me an onion. That way I’d be sure to return. No wonder Boston pizza is so busy.

My issue with bp is that like tim hortons it wrapped up in the canadian flag. if you’re canadian you’re suppose to like tims, hockey, and bp. I’m not a sports watcher, fan of tims, or bp. I find bp has tries to provide a quality meal but the food is much too average, they try to appeal to everyone. And that is where they fail. If the place is ever busy then customer service typically goes down the drain too. Went in with a few friends, ordered some chicken wings, pizza, and appies. Didn’t forget the beer. Food was ok at best, we’ve all had much better at individual restaurants throughout our great region. If you really want a similar quality experience at a bargain, I’d recommend the warehouse. The Good: … The Bad: … Best Bet: Go to some other local joint… if your tired and lazy… walk in.

I have been going to various Boston Pizza locations since my childhood and I’ve generally had decent experiences, but this time was an absolute disappointment. I came here with my boyfriend on a weeknight around 9PM for a late dinner after work. Our waitress was attending four tables in total and she took our orders. We waited for 45 minutes and other tables that came after us were served. Our waitress then came to our table and informed us that our orders were lost and what did we order again? We waited for another 15 minutes for the food to arrive and when it did we had to flag down another waitress to ask for utensils. The pizza was standard good quality but the pasta came out lukewarm and tasted overwhelmingly like BBQ sauce when the menu said that it is a pulled pork pasta with a bolognese sauce and a drizzle of BBQ sauce. We were so famished at that time that we didn’t bother asking them to change it, nor were we asked by our waitress about how we were finding things. We were offered a free dessert to make up for it at least but turned it down because we were full after the entrees. Overall a highly disappointing experience. We would not recommend going to this location.

I’m not sure which is more offensive: the fact that the pizza is so much more expensive than anyone else in the city or the fact that they charge $ 5 for delivery. I tried to order the Tuscan chicken, which is an above-average pizza but I’m sorry, I’m not paying $ 25 for a small pizza.

This has been sitting in my draft folder for a long time, therefore, I am posting it now even though it’s reportedly closed(walked by the other day and looked openish?). I’ve never had a specific problem with Boston Pizza as I got the nachos I wanted when I craved them at the mall. I can understand why it wouldn’t be the go to place for a date as you want something better, however, for chain food it was decent. Better than what most people give credit for. Never had any issues with my meals the times I was there, waiters were always friendly and prices were always good.

My wonderful boyfriend and I enjoyed huge pints of Amber ale(I think that was what it was called-see photo) and then went meteor for pizza cravings in the large variety. Very meaty. Yes it was man-food that I also enjoyed very much. Hunks and chunks of sausage, wonderful pepperoni, gobs of cheese. Heaven. I wish I’d known not to be sat in the bar-like section as it had plenty of kids with balloon action etc. Not quite the quiet eats conversation atmosphere. Mind you now that I think of it I wonder if that’s the only section they offer since I’ve not seen boston pizza place kids in the bar section before elsewhere.

If it wasn’t for its great location, I’d drop it down to a 2 star. Not once, but twice have they either messed up on our reservations and another time, over an hour to get our food ready. Located where the Canadian Tire is. Of course, not much in this area, but the BP’s in Richmond much better.

Free personal size pizza once a year if you are a BPclub member and a free dessert on your bday too! Not too many establishments still give away free stuff just because, so get on this before it’s gone! This location has been here for over 10 years I’m pretty sure. It’s always been a fun sports bar type place, even if they haven’t changed the décor since they opened(they really don’t have to, it’s part of the character of the place!) It’s Boston Pizza, what more can I say? The food is distinctly BP, the desserts are very sweet and the pizza is alright. Make sure you join the BP club!!!

The only item here I ever order is the Baked Bacon Chipotle Penne. It’s seriously satisfies those late night cravings! My friends and I like the Cactus Cut Potatoes, but the consistency lacks… Sometimes they’re perfect and cirspy, whilst the last few times we went they were not fried long enough and soggy :(there’s nothing worse than soggy friend potatoes!

Parking Nightmare! OK pizza! I was invited to a going away party for one of my friends here. To be honest with you I haven’t eatin at a BP restaurant in a long time, I think it’s been more then 8 years. I a lot of my guy friends love coming to BP and I see the attraction. It’s surrounded with big screen TVs and sports memorabilia. The atmosphere is friendly and more like a family type place to go. When I arrived at this location, Friday night at 7:00pm that parking lot was a gong show! It’s just not big enough! It shares its parking lot with Cactus Club, which makes it more difficult to find a spot. The parking lot beside it is owned by Tim Horton’s and fitness world so it’s pretty busy on the side as well. What I found more annoying was the offered«free valet parking» which was fine. I never bother asking but, the valet drivers made the parking lot even worse parking where ever they please, blocking everyone. I was so frustrated I was about to leave, but it was my friends party and she was celebrating something special, so I left the stupid parking lot and parked 5 mins away. Once I’ve calm down from the parking nightmare, the restaurant wasn’t bad, it was loud, sports bar kinda feel but that was expected. The food was OK. I had many people tell me about the«spicy perogy» pizza. So I had to try it. It was OK. The taste wasn’t anything spectacular, kinda bland it you ask me, well it was kinda spicy but that was it and the pizza crust was also OK. Wow in that paragraph I wrote OK three times so I guess it was OK. Lol Service was good, it was a busy Friday night and we had a large party. This place is great for large parties, but I’m pretty sure the other BP location have a better parking system so I recommend you going there instead.

An average, but nothing inovative or outstanding in terms of food or service. I never thought to myself«Hmmm I feel like Boston Pizza today!» Never had any cravings or really wanted to go back unless someone wanted to specifically dine here. The food is OK, but it is typical nachos, wings, pasta, chicken entrée, salads and etc. Good thing is that they have cheap night pasta on Tuesdays for those who are interested. I just wish they had a healthy menu option too, even their salads are high calorie dishes.

It was pretty good, it’s been a while since I’ve tried BP and this location wasn’t much different. Standard pub type styling as you’d find in any BP, nothing spectacular really. Our server was speedy though, and talked like she’d finished at least 5 pots of coffee just a few minutes before(maybe she was hitting the bar! Who knows) The food was pretty good, I tried the chicken Santa fe Stromboli, from the healthy choice section. For a whole grain dough it was actually really tasty. Overall not bad, but not great either.

I don’t know why I agreed to come here. This place is in an awful location with no parking. Sure, they say they have a parking lot, but they share it with Cactus Club and THEREISNOPARKING. Anyhoo, it seems like they had the AC going on a very cold and wet night. So whatever I was wearing that was wet because of the rain was now ice cold because of the air that was blowing above our table. I like to be comfortable when I’m eating… this did not add to my experience. We ordered some cactus cut potatoes and pizza bread with meat sauce. The fried chips were so yummy. I am not sure whether the sour cream is spiced or if it’s just the potatoes. Either way, really good. The bread was good enough to satisfy my pizza craving. The meat dipping sauce was okay, but was lukewarm. I wish it was hotter. Maybe it was and the fan cooled it down. Our server was really good. Refilled waters really fast and offered refills on the pop as well. She was also really fast which was nice.
