Not your typical Cinnzeo in the sense the buns are sloppy, often not very fresh and the frosting very light.
I had a BOGO free coupon once and although the korean owner honoured it, I could tell he wasn’t thrilled with me having a coupon.
In general (typically in the USA) this chain is solid but like in Canada, ridiculously overpriced.

We love getting a bun for dessert on the weekend, until recently one of the workers was completely disrespectful to me and some other customers. He did not care about anyone and was extremely rude. When serving my bun, I asked for some extra icing, he rolled his eyes and scraped the crusty old gunk from the pan and put it on my bun. I asked to get a new bun and his response was «its all the same» and gave me the most disgusted look. The other worker who may have been the manager didn’t seem to care at about anything. These franchises can be good but this one is the worst. I can only imagine if they treat the customers this way, how are they handling the food-YUCK!

Can not go wrong with buy one get one free with the entertainment book coupon! There was an option for extra icing. The cinnamon bun was large, very sweet and loaded with more than enough icing for myself.

A little steep at almost $ 5 for a cinnamon bun, but in my opinion, it was worth it! I went in the morning, so the buns were still warm from being out of the oven. The dough was very soft and not too dense, and the icing wasn’t too sweet. The icing infused with the chewiness of the bun was pure bliss. I’m not a huge fan of cinnamon but the cinnamon in this wasn’t overpowering, which I really liked. Overall, delicious, and immensely better than Ikea or say, Superstore’s cinnamon buns!

Surprised they don’t have their 1-day old sales, or even the near-end of day sell-offs like St. Germaine lol. You’d be surprised how their box of a dozen are still tasty even you freeze it.
Anyways, it’s a good location b/c they have their seating area in the store.
How anyone can even buy the frosting by itself has got to have a sweeter tooth than me!

OMG I am a sucker for the smell of warm cinnamon. There’s something emotionally comforting about a cinnamon bun drizzled in icing. I have to split a bun since this is way too sweet and large for me. Prices are decent and customer service is fair.

Wait for fresh baked vs. getting premade. I knew someone who worked here a while back and apparently the boxes that have been sitting around are made special because they have some preservative in them. I always ask for fresh made ones, you just have to wait about 15 – 20 minutes but then it’ worth it because they come out super gooey and HOT!
You can get the frosting on the side so that you can control how much sugar you intake. Also when they put it on the piping hot buns, it melts and isn’t that good. Also, smaller ones are better, just because! The big ones are too doughy in my opinion. The girls and guys that work here are really nice!

Considering how sinfully delicious these cinnamon buns are, I don’t think they’re that overpriced.
Ask when they were made, and if you can, wait for the new buns, hot and fresh out of the oven. Big, fat cinnamon swirled buns topped with frosting. Mmmm.
It’s been almost a year since I last came to the Metrotown location, sat down and had a cinnamon bun, yet the asian lady who works there never fails to wave at me each time I walk past. She’s also been known to give me a side of extra icing for free from time to time.

Cinnzeo calls their cinnamon buns Cinnarolls which is a cinnamon bun with brown sugar topped with Philly cream cheese frosting. They taste great, not too sweet with just enough frosting on the top. I bought their takeout packs which are freshly made each day — the cinnamon buns in the packs were warm too — and everyone loved it at the office!

That was some seriously awful overpriced «cinnamon bun.»
The cinnamon should be the star of the show, right? Wrong! It was like 95% bun, 5% cinnamon. And the bun crumbles apart as one bites into it. Yeah, what the?! Last I checked, a cinnamon bun is not a cloyingly sweet cookie.
