Dark, funky place to party, bar staff is cool. DJ has a wide range of music, played Daft Punk twice and any DJ who does that is doing it right.
It is very small and dark, music is funky but not for everyone.
Drinks aren’t as pricey as other spots and people seem fun to hang out with. I come here all the time, you should too.

Have had the best Experiences here. Sweet James glow my heart! also the staff are wicked to! Could be a bit more space’s for dancing but all and all fairly clean! Saturday is the Best nights to go for deep house or funk! its actual music! I’ll come back for sure someday!

I spent last weekend bustin’ a move at Bamboo and I gotta say — best music I’ve heard being played at a club in a LOOONG time.
They played everything from Aretha and Sam Cooke, to Young MC and Hammer. At one point I even whipped off the heels in order to ensure that I’d be the last one on the dance floor at the end of the night.
The crowd was feelin’ the music for the most part. Yes, there were a couple of creepers loitering at the bar, but far fewer than you’d run into at other random bars in the city.
The music was hype, the crowd was cool and I bet you just wish you coulda seen how Sapna got her groove back ;)

Situated and connected to the Drum and Monkey, the Bamboo is a cocktail lounge serving fancy drinks in contrast to the Drum which is a pub serving mostly beer. The night to go is Tuesday when ‘Dub at the Pub’ unites the bars with DJ’s High and I and MC Black Rose. The place is usually packed and drinks aren’t to cheap but it can be a fun night.
