Pushy owner. Wouldn’t stop following me around the store and hovering as if she was expecting me to steal something. I just wanted to browse in peace. Played awful country music station which made me even more uncomfortable. I’d rather shop elsewhere.

The store has many costumes to choose from. Some pricey and some fairly priced. A lot of the costumes are of poor quality… but let’s be honest, you’ll only wear it once or twice so what does it matter. I’ve made a couple purchases and they have been a hit at parties. The staff are nice and have been helpful with finding what we need. The store is a bit run down and feels dirty, but the product is well organized.

I went in after going to their website and was surprised at their selection and how helpful the staff was. I was looking for a hard to find costume and they had three different kinds.

This store is now in Cambrian Heights. I stopped in for the first time today because I’ve been ignorant and truly not in need of a costume in the past few years. However, I have a dress-up event soon and wanted to see if they have anything I need. I am impressed by the store, actually. It’s not very big but they have a lot. I saw numerous styles of wigs I’ve not seen before as well as many reversible corsets, cha cha skirts and tutu’s on sale. I like how they have corsets and skirts hung on the wall so you can actually see them out of the bag. They appear to have a bit of everything and I’d rather shop here than at a large, super popular store where you are fighting crowds at times. They also have a decent selection of masquerade masks and I noted they have an equally large selection for men as well as plus size costumes. I have to do more research this week regarding the costume I need so didn’t purchase anything today, but now I know that as a Huntington Hills resident, I don’t have to drive halfway across the city.
