Clay for Kids is a pottery studio offering children and adults clay and pottery wheel classes and workshops. Our studio and services include seasonal events, birthday parties, school field trips, ceramic painting and kids camps.
History
Established in 1981.
Clay for Kids began operations in 1981 and offered a 90-minute pottery program. This included a pottery wheel demonstration, information about where clay comes from, what natural colors it is found in, how it changes, who uses it, and how and why it is fired. Instructors then gave specific instructions for the selected project.
