Awful service, the entire hotel stunk, and again awful service. The front desk clerk was very rude upon our arrival as we had made previous parking arrangements beforehand that she was uninformed of. When I walked out of my room to the vending machine literally 2 feet beside my door the housekeeping staff screamed at me that I needed shoes to get service in their establishment. When checking out I stayed last behind my party to use the guest computer around the corner for directions, and I heard another desk clerk tell a staff member how awful our perfume smelt! So rude. So unprofessional. The whole place reeked of stale cigarette smoke. Don’t go there. Go anywhere but there.

Hotel staff were rude and unprofessional at check in. I showed up with a case of beer and the clerk demanded to know why I was there(a room, I would have thought evident), and was quite convinced I was intending to «party» and make noise. First off, if I was looking to party, I would have had at least a 12 pack, not a 6 pack, and I wouldn’t be going to a Days Inn. Second, I had absolutely no intention of «partying» or disturbing other guests. I was threatened that I would be «asked to leave». If I do disturb other guests, by all means give me a lecture and evict me. But I don’t appreciate these accusations upfront when all I am looking for is a quiet bed for the night. I know this isn’t a Ritz Carlton, but a forced smile and pleasant«How are you this evening?» is really all I ask of my hostess. Even a completely apathetic demeanour is acceptable, but please don’t take it upon yourself to insult your paying guests at check-in and consider yourselves to be in the hospitality business. Otherwise, the room was acceptable. Air conditioning worked, TV didn’t. Personally, I will not stay here again and I recommend you find another place to stay as well.

Surprisingly nice for a budget hotel. It’s an older place, but the rooms have been updated and are very clean. Would definately reccomend if you need to be near this part of the city.

This may be a budget hotel but the quality of the furnishings and the friendliness of the staff are first class On checking in and walking into the room, I was impressed with the room bedding and washroom which could have easily have been of the same quality of a 4 – 5 star hotel! The included breakfast is quite nice with a complete selection of cereal, hard boiled eggs, muffins, make your own waffles, toast and of course coffee which is available all day. The only drawback I can think of is the hotel is situated 15 mins from downtown Calgary. However it wasn’t a big issue because I had a car. I will definitely stay here again when I am visiting Calgary. I better stop here otherwise people will think I work here! lol!
