Delicate Nails & Spa

This is a family owned business. I have been taking my elderly parents here for almost 2 years and they get beautiful respectful care. The works is always at least very good to sometimes wonderful (depends on who you get)
Very important: this place is very clean and they pay close attention to maintenance/​sterility of equipment.

Delicate Nails & Spa is a small nail salon in an unassuming strip mall on 14^th street NW near the community of North Haven. Arriving at 10am on a Saturday morning, the salon was empty. Looking around, the place looked and felt clean and the staff were super friendly.
I had received a manicure/​pedicure as a birthday gift from my boyfriends mum, and I went with her and my boyfriend’s sister to have it done. We were all able to sit in a row in the pedicure chairs, of which there were at least 5 or 6. The staff who helped us worked quickly and methodically. They did a really nice job on my toe and finger nails, and they had a wide selection of nail polish colors.
Since I was being treated as a gift, I’m not totally sure what their pricing is like, but glancing at the price board, I think they were pretty reasonable, and definitely cheaper than all those fancy-​shmancy spas like Eveline Charles where you pay for the fluff more than the service. This place doesn’t have a ton of frills like those places do, but I don’t really want to pay for that crap anyway! I just want my nails done. That doesn’t require an esthetician to bring me crappy coffee and put cucumbers over my eyes for an extra $ 30.
The only thing I wish they had spent more time on was the massage portion. It was not the best I’d ever experienced, and frankly that’s 75% of the reason I usually get a pedicure! But if you want a no nonsense manicure/​pedicure from friendly staff at a reasonable price, this place fits the bill. I will definitely go back.
