Very typical strip mall neighbourhood pub. Dark, wood and padded leather pre-millenial décor with TVs and sports trinkets peppered about. Service was good, accomodating special drink requests. There is a daily dinner special that’ll save you $ 3 or $ 4: the Friday fish and chips was a good size and well cooked. This place is about as unique as a six pack of beer… but that never stopped anyone from buying a six pack :-)

This place is definitely a 3.5 stars. I’m in between A-OK and I’m a fan, because I do like it but it wouldn’t always be my first choice in the area. But it is convenient, open late, and homey. I love the servers and the location(proximity to my place!). The food is also pretty decent for a pub, especially the pizza. It took me two years to venture into this place. The black construction paper all over the windows made me curious what was inside, and perhaps a bit scared. Turns out it’s very nice and clean inside. The prices are middle of the road, the specials on drinks are pretty decent, but the food specials aren’t super cheap. Sundays is their wing night, and their wings are actually really good.($ 5.99/dozen), with a reasonable amount of selection, and come standard with veggies and ranch dip. Great for a quick bite to eat, friendly service. Don’t try the lemonade LOL. Wing Flavours — my favourites are honey garlic and teriyaki hot here: 3rd Degree Greek Honey Garlic Hot Hot Teriyaki Lemon Pepper Mild Salt & Pepper Sweet & Sour Teriyaki Teriyaki Hot

Love this place! It’s close to home and has a great pub atmosphere. Like Amanda mentioned, it is a neighbourhood pub, so I wouldn’t put in the same class as Toad and Turtle or another mainstream place, but it definitely has its own charm. As for food, it’s what I would call typical pub fare and by now I’ve had almost everything on the menu(minus the fish and chips). Foor does tend to be a bit heavy but it will fill you up. They also have daily specials. My favorite: Lasagna… soooo good!

Galliano’s is your typical stripmall neighbourhood pub. This isn’t the place you go because you love the décor, you go because it is conveniently 3 blocks from your house and you are lazy. If you know your neighbours, you may run in to some of them here. I do recommend their pizza though. If you like a thick crust, tons of toppings, and lots of cheese, you are in for a treat. I usually get the Hawaiian or I get them to custom make me a bbq chicken(not on the menu). Their other menu items I find are generally lacking, and unfortunately they charge chain pub prices. When you are a neighbourhood pub, you can’t get away with serving mediocre food at preimum prices. The pizza makes the place a-ok, but otherwise, I’ve had better.
