Stan and Dorothy are «to the trade» quality. I have practiced Interior Design since 1976. After, arriving in Calgary I had a personal need to have work done. I dropped in on 6 upholsterers. None matched this work-​rooms ability and finish. Some specialized in shopping center lobbies, headboards and everything in between. But Stan and his wife are artist. European quality and Canadian savvy. Dorothy is artist with fabric repeat and laying out pattern from back, seat, to front. I is t all in place. Everything matched. Stan can rebuild a piece of furniture that came from the humid south, to this dry climate. A main horizontal structure board, twisted and created a mess, inside my 35 year old Ethan Allen Parson’s sofa. They are busy but will work you in, if you can wait. He requires payment before delivery. He has been burned before. Although, go to his shop and pay him the day he plans to bring your furniture. Plan ahead, it is worth it.
