I’m not writing this review based on the wait times (anywhere from 10 minutes to 10 hours, depending on the day!) or the sad looking interior that looks like it hasn’t been updated since 1982.
But I came down with a mystery illness this past summer and almost died. Dr. Karia (who is one of the most honest doctors I have ever met — to the point where he’ll even admit if he doesn’t know what a particular disease is or what causes it) SAVED MY LIFE.
Pro tip — if you do have to go to the emergency room, go to the clinic first to get papers drawn up. It’ll save you massive amounts of time, especially when every second counts!
Dr. Karia made sure I got the care that I needed. I’m going to be really sad when he retires. I’ll also be sad when Nurse Donna finally retires and shoves off to Victoria. She’s such a sweet lady.
Thank you, Dr. Karia and the Staff at Heritage Medicentre. You saved my life and I will never be able to express my gratitude enough. Thank you for «just doing your job :).»
