I LOVE candy like nobody’s business but for some unknown profound reason, I had never visited Olivier’s Candies until just recently. OH. MY. GOD. Candy heaven I tell ya! They’ve got everything from truffles to toffee and they’ve got a chocolate factory in town!!! Being one of the oldest continuously operated businesses in Western Canada, Olivier’s Candies has got not only the greatest goods, but the most delectable, unique and tasty goods in town. Olivier’s has become a tradition in our city and the fact that all their candy is handcrafted and made from the finest ingredients, makes them score 5 stars in my books. Treat someone you love with Olivier’s Candies, there’s no sweeter surprise!

I have never visited here, but received some candy from Olivier’s. The caramellow is a marshmallow coated in caramel and wrapped in a wax paper. It’s approximately the size of an egg. The first bite into the candy was nothing but delicious caramel. It melts in your mouth. I never thought that combining the caramel and marshmallows would taste so sinfully good. Can’t wait to visit and buy some more =)

This place has quality chocolates at reasonable prices. All of it is made at a Calgary factory and shipped to the three locations they have in town. This Inglewood location is their largest and has a good assortment of chocolates and other old-time favourites like peanut brittle. The whole atmosphere is like an old candy shoppe(two p’s and an e) with a wide selection of candy available behind glass counters. They also have a giant three foot chocolate Santa that goes for $ 250. That’s the most expensive thing in the store; the rest is solid chocolate items that would cost you a lot more at other chocolate shops in town. They even have chocolate Big Rock beer bottles for the alcoholic who dabbles in chocolate on your Christmas list. They have a lot of great items for much less than you would spend elsewhere…
