My first time at the Peace of Mind Massage Therapy Centre. Cramped Front End seating space for customers. I had pre-filled out my form and waited in there. Was greeted by the RMT and she didn’t introduce herself. In the beginning pressure was good and she checked with me if pressure was good but near the middle and end was literally just smoothing her hands instead of applying pressure. I was supposed to get a whole body massage but didn’t feel like that at all. And her stomach kept rumbling. I had a 1:15pm appointment and I was hoping she’d had lunch by then. I felt really bad for her but it’s disrupting when her stomach kept rumbling while she was giving me a massage. She also took really large deep breaths as if she was having a hard time. Overall it was not a pleasant experience and I felt that it was a waste of money. I will go back to Oasis centre downtown where I actually had a FULL body massage with pressure and relaxation.

Wow! This was a great massage! I booked with «Raman» and she did a wonderful job. The place was clean and the staff were friendly. I had a one hour full body massage.
Raman was friendly and checked from time to time if the pressure was right. I also liked that we talked a bit and then she let me relax in peace! I like to relax and not chat the whole hour. This was a nice balance.
I believe this place found a new «Regular Customer».

No. I walked out. Waste of time unfortunately. I met with massage therapist, Jennifer. I told her what I usually tell a new therapist: Where it hurts, how I like my massage. The basics. She said: ‘Thats not how I was trained. I only do it long and slow.’ I said: But you’re trained to work with people aren’t you, with all sorts of needs? She went on to say ’ Don’t tell me what to do’. Incredible. I walked out, left a message for the owner. I’ve visited massage therapists throughout this country and never heard those words. Waste of my time. This was an awful feeling, nothing healing for me. Save your money and go to where you are heard and the therapist has enough experience and good quailities to give you what you need. Aziza

The reception was very friendly and helpful and I found the atmosphere to be very inviting and clean. However, I found the massage therapist to be insensitive and cold. I feel my areas of concern weren’t addressed as nearly as well as they could of been and no aftercare or check up was provided by the therapist after the massage. Needless to say, I will not be returning.

I agree wither the comments about the bedding. Not soft at all and made laying there really uncomfortable. I would not recommend this place. It’s the same price as a nice spa but it’s not a nice spa. The bedding was itchy my massage was 15 minutes short and I was told that’s how they do it. They include all the time your there as your massage time ??? Even when she’s not in the room. Also my massage therapist had a cold and coughed through the whole thing and there was some bad halitosis happening. When I went to leave the atmosphere was cold and almost rude. They don’t take cash oh they do but will not provide any change but don’t tell you that before you come for your appointment. I tried talking to the Manager and she told me that’s how they do things, Too Bad. If you are going to treat your self to massage go to a nice spa. That’s not what this is. They charge like they are. Hope I saved someone the experience I had there. Thumbs down

I have a confession to make. I LOVE MASSAGES!
I was on a mission to find a good massage place by my hood and I found it. This massage therapy centre is rather small but I like it that way. It gives a cozy feeling to it which I love. The staff are nice and very professional. Before the start of the massage, they inquire if there is a specific area that I would like them to focus on and afterwards they provide some tips on how to stretch to relax muscles etc.
From checking out their website, other than massages they also have acupuncture and body talk. I haven’t tried these two services from them but the body talk sounds very interesting.
