I started seeing Dr Kanji two weeks ago when I noticed the tension in my neck and shoulders was becoming quite persistent. I had never seen a Chiropractor before but a colleague of mine recommended him and I thought It wouldn’t hurt to just check it out.
I was pleasantly surprised with the whole experience. Dr. Kanji was very professional and started the appointment with an information session about Chiropractics and what his plan of attack would be. He did a scan of the nerves in my back and took X-​rays so he could assess any underlying issues. Dr. Kanji also sets up an information appointment to go over all of the x-​ray results in detail. He went over everything in my file and we looked at the x-​rays together, which was really refreshing.
I’ve been in for about 4 adjustments and I cannot believe the changes I’ve noticed. The tension in my neck and shoulders has reduced significantly and I’m also sleeping better at night. The office is extremely cozy and relaxing and I’m always greeted by name when I come in.
There are also payment plan options available if you only have limited coverage through your benefits.
Overall, I’m extremely happy with the services provided at ascension and will continue to go to back.

When I first saw Dr. Farshad Kanji, I did not suffer from serious neck or back pain. I had never been to a chiropractor and booked an appointment simply because I was curious and wanted to take advantage of my workplace health benefits in the pursuit of optimal health.
I was impressed by the friendly, calming atmosphere, as well as the patience and knowledge of Dr. Kanji, who talked me through the personalized consultation. My flippancy soon dissipated as Dr. Kanji’s evaluation procedures set off warning bells — confirmed by the x-​ray that evening.
I was diagnosed with stage 1 & 2 spinal subluxations and degeneration. Dr. Kanji pinpointed the root of longterm health issues I had come to accept such as chronic migrane and tension headaches and digestive problems. In only a few sessions, I began to feel the benefits of his care with better posture, less tension and no headaches!
I recommend chiropractic care at Ascension Wellness Centre to anyone as a preventative wellness measure — especially if you have never had your spinal health evaluated. Subluxations influence organ system function and general health — including your immune system. Not all the exercise and healthy eating in the world can make you healthy if you do not have a healthy spine.

This was my first hot stone massage, bought a Groupon. Apparently they sold alot of these as I had to book my appt quite a few weeks in advance. The office is quite plain, this place is not a spa, its a chiropractors office with a few candles and a waterfall. When I arrived, I had to fill out the usual forms and then went in. The atmosphere during the massage was typical, with the dim lighting, water fall sound effects and soft music. The RMT was really nice and didn’t try and chit chat with me during my massage which I appreciated. I really loved the hot stones since I am always cold. I don’t know if I would pay full price to go back, but for a Groupon, its totally worth it. Plus, they gave me the claim form to send into my insurance. Ended up being a really great deal.
