Our talented medical aestheticians customize personalized treatment plans for each and every one of our clients.
Started by Dr. Monika Chhabra Gupta in the Summer of 2010. Satin Touch has grown from a strictly medical aesthetics spa to becoming a flourishing Laser Centre and Ayurvedic Clinic. Ayurveda is a system of alternative medicine, based on a deep understanding of eternal truths about the human body, mind and spirit. Panchkarma is a study of the five types of treatment used to rid the body of toxins and promote inner healing. Through Monika’s expansive knowledge and experience, Satin Touch has been able to introduce revolutionary treatments in the field, combining the best of the ancient science of Ayurveda with modern medical aesthetics.

Dr. Monika Chhabra Gupta completed her Bachelors of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) in 1994 with a specialization in Panchkarma. Ayurveda is a system of alternative medicine, based on a deep understanding of eternal truths about the human body, mind and spirit. Panchkarma is a study of the five types of treatment used to rid the body of toxins and promote inner healing.
After moving to Canada, Monika decided to pursue a lifelong passion and decided to pursue a career in the field of cosmetology. She received training in medical aesthetics as well as laser procedures and took the position of director/owner at Satin Touch in 2010. Since then, Satin Touch has been able to introduce revolutionary treatments in the field, combining the best of the ancient science of Ayurveda with modern medical aesthetics.
The practice has really become popular with Calgarians and Monika plans to expand this unique practice all across Canada.
