Pretty standard as things go. My girlfriend and I came in one night for a hot beverage. Service was good. There isn’t a ton of seating here but there was an open table. Unfortunately, the draft from the door opening and closing made it quite cool to stick around for too long. On another visit I gave the drive-thru a try. The service was quicker than other S-bux ones I’ve tried in the past.

This Starbucks in Calgary is the same as any *$ that I’ve been to in the US. A couple of coolers with cold drinks and pastries and then the counter where a cheerful(hopefully) barista prepares your caffeine drink to order. It’s the same coffee as well. A few tables and chairs — this might be a nice place to meet someone for a chat. Free wifi worked well. Tables outside are nice, if the weather is cooperative.

Usually I go to the Starbucks on 16th ave right beside SAIT to study but I thought Id study closer to home so I went to this Starbucks. It is quite small and almost all the tables were full when I entered. I have no problem with the environment at all but they only had power outlet that I could see and it was being used. When I asked an employee if there was any way I could use one of their outlets as all the others were taken he gave me a snappy response then directed to tell me that a table had just opened up and if I wanted that outlet I better move. I like Starbucks but theres not way I’ll ever to back to this one with the lack of common decency there way. Customer service needs to improve

I am generally a Tim Horton’s gal when it comes to coffee. However, Starbucks is on my fave list when I am looking for lattes, so they are quite near and dear to my heart. I feel like I have been in a good chunk of starbucks in this city, so in terms of their productl, it is the same as any starbucks. I will say that much like most chain, they have their product down, and it is consistent. The service when I went was consistant. Everyone was friendly, I received my drink in a reasonable time, and all as well. The reason why i didn’t rank this high, despite their delicious product, was because the environment was extremely dischevled. Honestly, I do not frequent this starbucks much, so I don’t know if this is typical of this location. Other than myself and my friend, there was only one other customer in the shop, so there were many empty seats, yet every table was cluttered with old newspapers and debris from previous guests. I stayed in the location for approximately 1.5 hours visiting with my friend over a latte and during that time, everything stayed the same. Customers came and went, but even during slow periods, the staff did not take the time to straighten up at all. Honestly, for me, this wouldn’t deter me from going back. It was«clean», it was just cluttered. Thankfullly, I’m a little more right-brained, so I just chose my table with the two big comfy orange chairs, I simply removed the debris from my table, and made it my own space, and was content to hang out.

Service: 5 stars Rest of the Starbucks: 1 star This Starbucks is teeny-weeny and they only have something like 2 tables in the joint. And they are the ‘hard’ tables too, no comfy couches or booths, there just isn’t the room. The plus however is that it is attached to a massive Indigo store(see my next review on Indigo). Overall though, I can’t see myself spending more than a minute in this Starbucks. NOTEAFORYOU!
