Sue Alterations & Repair

I have been getting alterations done by Sue for several years now. While it’s normally something like getting my jeans hemmed so that the other 16 inches of length that are included in order to fit people of a certain height («circus tall» I like to call ‘em), I have also had suits and the like altered as well.
I like bringing business to Sue. In part, it’s because I try to support local business where I can, and I also generally dislike going to the mall. I also want someone who I can trust with doing more complex alterations on suits and other fine garmentry. (Yes, it’s a word. I double-​checked.)
To have three suit jackets taken in around the chest and waist, and the same for one vest, cost me about $ 150. For the complexity of the work, I’m pretty happy with that price. It was Sue’s brother who was helping me out this time, and not only did he produce an excellent result, but was of great cheer and a pleasure to chat with as well.
I’d recommend Sue’s shop to anyone needing any kind of clothing alterations. They have been in the business for many years and know exactly what they’re doing. And they’re a great pleasure to do business with to boot.
