Time Music Studios specializes in one on one private musical instruction on virtually any instrument. Here’s what we do: Voice, Violin, Drums, Guitar, Piano, Brass and Woodwinds and even ukulele! We offer RCM preparatory for those who are interested.

We also carry a wide variety of popular/​instructional books and sell competitively priced guitars, drums, amplifiers and accessories.

Time Music Studios was founded back in 2006 with goal in mind of serving you the customer! Great musical instruction with great people and a friendly environment for young and the young at heart, Time Music Studios is the environment that will help you peruse your musical journey!

Meet the Business Owner

David G.

Business Owner

Born and raised in Calgary, an extremely rare event, music has been and continues to be David’s ultimate passion although listening to Jimi Hendrix’ Purple Haze was his catalyst to playing guitar. Little did he know but his passion would become his life’s career. A local musician since age 13, he evolved from a bedroom guitar player to play on stages and venues across Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan.

A graduate from the Mount Royal Jazz Performance Program, David has honed his ability to be musically versatile and creative. His love for music and desire to impart his knowledge to others led David to begin teaching at various studios around the city and in 2005 he along with Craig Johnson opened Time Music Studios.

Although a teacher for 20 years, David still continues to be a part of the vibrant Calgary music scene. He is currently a member of an acoustic trio Scotch On Sunday and a corporate band known as Groove Kitchn.
