Grand Senses

I went here for the first time while on vacation the other day and Martha (RMT) is a great therapist! The spa itself is spacious, clean and comfortable. Only $ 85/​hr for an RMT massage, which is really reasonable, considering you get the spa experience + massage. I was also asked to choose two Aveda essential oils, from a lrg collection which were used during the massage. Absolutely five stars!

I was in town for a conference from June 3 – 7 and stayed on an extra day to see family.
Saturday afternoon I had Brooke braid my hair for the gala dinner. She did a great job. I came downstairs from the hotel showered and my hair combed out. I was charged $ 45.00 + tax and tip for a braid.
Monday morning I came down for a deep tissue massage by Martha. Fantastic job! $ 85 + tax and tip. Receipt was provided for insurance.
I treated my mom to a spa day. Massage ($ 85), facial ($ 75) and manicure ($ 45).
This is where the review gets good! This location is wheelchair accessible. My mom is in a scooter and finding a service in Charlottetown that is accessible is nearly impossible.
The staff were awesome in assisting my mom in getting ready for her massage and facial, up/​down from the table, helping her with her clothes and being so supportive in making her feel comfortable. My mom had both shoulders replaced in less than a year and her strength and mobility have gone down, plus she gained weight. This makes her self-​conscience about herself. Did I mention she’s 74! The staff told me she kept saying: now I know you guys are here and I can come on my own! That’s huge!
So thank you Grand Senses for the grand experience! I know my mom will be back and I will return on my visits home to the Island!
